It was hard to know what to expect in the women’s 3rd place game with one team being filled with youth and the other being experienced players.

This was on show initially as Nottingham took advantage to their speed to get out to a lead but Northampton kept it close.

In the end, however, Northampton’s experience showed clearly as they came from behind to take the win and the bronze medal.
